How do I choose the right tile size for my small room?

When it comes to renovating small rooms such as bathrooms, powder rooms, laundry rooms, kitchens & entrances, the opinion is often that you should systematically go for a small model. But think again! Even very, very small rooms can have large formats! Large formats require fewer joints, so they're easier to maintain! Also, if you grout very small joints in the same color as the tile, you'll get the impression of a uniform slab! This can even give the effect of grandeur! So when renovating, keep an open mind to all the possibilities!
