By accessing and using the Plancher2000.ca site, you accept, without reservation, all the terms and conditions and are bound by them.
The terms and conditions contain essential information on consumer rights and responsibilities. Please read them carefully.
All terms and conditions are subject to change without notice in writing, by telephone or in person.
Display and prices
1. Prices
- All prices are in Canadian dollars.
- Delivery charges, taxes and customs duties are not included.
- All site prices are subject to change except at the time you place your order. Placing an item in your shopping cart does not guarantee its price. All prices shown in a quotation or an unpaid invoice are not final.
- Plancher 2000 cannot be held responsible for any error in the price indicated on the site. If an error is found, the price will be adjusted on the customer's order.
2. Display
- Plancher 2000 cannot guarantee colors, textures and other characteristics on the screen you are using.
- Plancher 2000 does its best to give you the best possible explanations and product details. However, we cannot guarantee that the content displayed on the site is completely accurate and error-free.
- Plancher 2000 is not responsible for discontinued products. No compensation will be paid in this respect.
3. Completed orders
- Plancher 2000 reserves the right to cancel or refuse your order in the event of unavailable merchandise, payment deemed fraudulent, refused payment, pricing error or any other reason deemed valid by Plancher 2000. The cancellation or refusal will be communicated to you with the reasons for it.
- Orders are contractual only if accepted by Plancher 2000.
- Payment by credit card or bank transfer only.
Product categories & guarantees
1- Solid and engineered wood
a. All wood products are final sales. Plancher 2000 is not responsible for quantities ordered by customers, or for measurements calculated on plans or by our representatives. No compensation will be granted.
b. Plancher 2000 is not responsible for merchandise after receipt. If the wood is improperly stored and deformation occurs due to humidity or other factors beyond our control.
c. Wood warranties are in connection with the distributing company. These apply to manufacturing defects. Human wear and tear is not a manufacturing defect.
d. Plancher 2000 is not responsible for any problems that may arise during installation that are not related to the manufacture of the product. This is the responsibility of the person or company installing the product.
e. Please refer to the installation guide. If your installation does not meet the manufacturer's and construction standards, Plancher 2000 will not accept any claims or requests.
2- Ceramic & porcelain
a. Tiles may be subject to returns within a maximum of 30 days of receipt in Plancher 2000 warehouses and not at the time of customer pick-up.
b. Depending on the case, return fees ranging from 15% to 50% will apply.
c. Plancher 2000 is not responsible for any problems that may arise during installation that are not related to the manufacture of the product. This is the responsibility of the person or company installing the product.
d. Please refer to the installation guide. If your installation does not meet the manufacturer's and construction standards, Plancher 2000 will not accept any claims or requests.
e. Plancher 2000 is not responsible for merchandise after receipt. In the event of damage, breakage or other related situations.
f. Tile warranties are in conjunction with the distributing company. These apply to manufacturing defects. Human wear and tear is not a manufacturing defect.
3. Laminate and vinyl flooring
a. Floating laminate and vinyl floors may be subject to returns within 30 days of receipt in Plancher 2000 warehouses and not at the time of customer pick-up.
b. A minimum of 3 full unopened boxes is required for a return.
c. Depending on the case, return fees ranging from 15% to 50% will apply.
d. Warranties on laminate and vinyl floating floors are in conjunction with the distributing company. These apply to manufacturing defects. Human wear and tear is not a manufacturing defect.
e. Please refer to the installation guide. If your installation does not meet the manufacturer's and construction standards, Plancher 2000 will not accept any claims or requests.
f. Plancher 2000 is not responsible for any problems that may arise during installation that are not related to the manufacture of the product. This is the responsibility of the person or company installing the product.
g. Plancher 2000 is not responsible for merchandise after receipt. In the event of damage, breakage or other related situations.
h. When "water-resistant" is indicated on a floor, it means that the floor has waterproof resistance on the surface of the floor, not in its entirety. Please refer to the manufacturer's guide for duration.
Delivery
a. Plancher 2000 is not responsible for the cost of delivery. The customer is responsible for all costs related to delivery, return of merchandise, extra distance charges and freight charges.
b. Upon receipt of delivery, the entire order must be inspected by the customer. It is the customer's responsibility to check the condition and quantity of the material received.
c. If a problem arises with the merchandise following delivery, the customer has 24 hours following delivery to notify Plancher 2000. Photos or videos will be required to support the request.
Remedies and responsibilities
1- Denial of responsibility
All warranties and conditions of sale are specific to the manufacturers of the products Plancher 2000 offers through its branches and website.
Plancher 2000 endorses only the conditions of sale and warranties of the companies it distributes. All other warranties, conditions, representations, usages or other terms related to argumentation via the conditions and warranties Plancher 2000 endorses will be expressly disclaimed. Plancher 2000 cannot be held responsible for any use of the material under the terms, warranties and conditions of another individual. Whether via an Internet site, another retailer or any other form of information outside that provided by Plancher 2000.
Plancher 2000 cannot allege that all products sold on its website are free from conformities or manufacturing errors.
When purchasing from plancher2000.ca, the customer assumes that defects will not be corrected or dispensed with by Plancher 2000. It is the customer's responsibility to ensure that the product meets the standards of the location from which it will be installed.
Plancher 2000 will not offer any warranty to compensate for errors, product anomalies, information failures, reliance on site information or by a third party, etc. Plancher 2000 is also not in a position to guarantee the accuracy of the product. Plancher 2000 is also in no way responsible, blamed or guilty of computer situations beyond its control. These situations represent access to your personal and financial information, viruses or other related situations.
Plancher 2000 reserves the right to terminate all communications for any defamatory, offensive or illegal conduct on any of its platforms.
By using this site, you agree that all risks are assumed by you.
2- Applicable law :
Plancher20000.ca is directed from its branches located in the province of Quebec, Canada. Its Internet site can be consulted by all world territories which allow it. However, by accessing its site, you agree to be subject to the laws applicable in the province of Quebec. No requests for legal relocations will be accepted. The only locations accepted for a place of jurisdiction will be in one of the cities of Quebec where Plancher 2000 has a branch office.
Any laws or regulations allowing a customer to contradict to his advantage the contract, conditions, warranties, responsibilities or any other rules of interpretation in opposition with the author will not be applied.
3- Pre-determinations
Neither Plancher 2000 nor any of its affiliates shall be held liable for breach of any obligation, tort or other situation deemed reprehensible by the consumer.
Plancher 2000 has no control over delays, acts of God, acts of terrorism, acts of government, strikes, riots, quarantines, accidents, or any other related situations.
4- Language
The consumer agrees that the preferred language in Quebec is French. Any translation errors working to the customer's advantage will be refused.
Plancher 2000 is in no way responsible for poorly translated information resulting in a misunderstanding or assimilation of the information. No compensation can be claimed and/or awarded. Under no circumstances may customers reproach Plancher 2000 for working in the French language and demand to be served in a language other than French.
However, Plancher 2000 will serve English-speaking customers to the best of its ability.
